At Mercer Lal, we understand CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
Your CRM data is one of your most valuable assets and can be integrated with GIS solutions, offering a unique perspective and a variety of possibilities.
We work with several major CRM platforms (Zoho, D365, Hubspot, Goldmine etc.) and take this opportunity to introduce Mapsly, our GIS Partner, for visualising your data in a CRM Map!
With native, bi-directional integration to popular CRMs, as well as connectors via Zapier, and the Mapsly API, there are a number of options to bring your data to life in a Map! These offer real-time sync capabilities, and a new polling (in Beta) option will soon be available to set up Mapsly to regularly query API endpoints. Finally, you can of course import data regularly through CSV files!
Data can be overwhelming so there is always justification for geographical representation, which once achieved, lends itself to very interesting solutions that your business can leverage. Let’s cover a couple of use cases:
Territory Management & Analysis
Ever wanted to automatically assign Record Ownership based on Location? Or perhaps visualise your customer distribution in a colourised heat map based on actual KPIs? Get really cool and share a map with preconfigured territories via an embedded link to a website, portal/dashboard, or simply send by email?
With workflows and an automation suite, there is plenty of scope to reduce administrative tasks, improve data integrity and management intelligence.
Routing & Tracking
Ideal for Field Sales, Delivery & Service teams, Mapsly provide several powerful features aimed at increasing efficiencies. These include Optimised Routing, configurable Check In/Out, Location Tracking and Regular Visit Planning.
Optimised Routing can save valuable time and fuel costs, as it takes live data into account and automatically re-orders your waypoints to minimise driving time.
The Check In/Out feature improves accountability, and this data can be synchronised to your CRM!
Location Tracking is done through a Mobile Phone App, and is designed to preserve battery, using the phone’s accelerometer to determine when the user stops – to pause tracking and data transmission until the user resumes moving. Even more slick is the fact that Location tracking does not require internet connection to work – while offline, the mobile app collects location data and transmits it to the Mapsly server once the mobile device is back online.
